Hello love!

My name is Emily Mills and I’ve been lucky enough to work as a licensed wedding officiant since 2017. I have performed over 300 weddings, each uniquely beautiful and so worthy of celebration! I would love to learn your story and to write a ceremony that feels authentically yours.

While some part of this is that I just love people in love, I make it a priority that everyone I work with feels comfortable, heard, and honored through every step of the process.

    We start with a relaxed, structured introduction, followed by a questionnaire that lets you share your thoughts at your own pace. I value collaboration, honesty, and giving you space, so you’ll never feel rushed or pressured into decisions that don’t reflect you and your partner. Wedding planning can be stressful; I make sure your ceremony isn’t.

EMILY’S BACKGROUND

Throughout my life, I have worked as a writer and public speaker. From slam poetry performances, to capstone addresses, to comedy shows, to teaching these skills to high school students and immigrant communities for 9 years, I have spent my life figuring out how to put things into words.

When I’m not happily typing away, you can find me backpacking, reading copious amounts of sci-fi, attempting to perfect a pasta puttanesca recipe, and hanging out with my cat Howie (full name, Howie Doin’).
